NEUROPOD — Motion Engine Spec (v1.1, delta)
Source spec as provided 2026-08-11. Implementation reconciliation — CC remap, NRPN→SysEx, scene param table, deviations and deferrals — is changelog #15 in NEUROPOD_SPEC_v1.2.md, which is authoritative where the two disagree.
Scope: Additive spec against existing NEUROPOD firmware (Daisy Pod / STM32H750, dual-path MIDI neuro bass synth, MIDI clock sync already implemented). This delta morphs NEUROPOD into its final form: a scene-based motion instrument — capture sweet spots, morph between them, sequence them, and generate movement with a curatable dice system. No manual per-parameter automation anywhere in the workflow.
Design axiom: The sweet-spot problem and the sequencing problem are the same problem. Sweet spots are captured (not designed), movement is morphing between captured states, and sequences are generated (then curated by exception via locks).
The loop this enables: explore → capture → morph → roll → curate-by-lock — sweet spots harvested by ear, movement generated, authorship kept.
