New code.
New instrument.
Try the sounds behind our upcoming Amen instrument.
Install an early release on your compatible Daisy Pod.
First, the bootloader.
Most releases need Amen Bootloader first—the small starter program that lets your Seed load them. Set it up once, then switch between QSPI instruments without reinstalling it.
Granular Timestretch is the exception: its internal-flash build skips this step and replaces any installed bootloader.
Prepare once.
Play many instruments.
The bootloader is the small program that installs and starts your instruments. It is not an instrument itself. Amen Bootloader includes the corrected read-back verification and appears by that name over USB.
- Enter STM32 recovery modeHold BOOT, press and release RESET, then release BOOT. Use a USB data cable connected to the Seed.
- Connect and installSelect the STM32 DFU device, often “DFU in FS Mode”. Confirm your hardware and install Amen Bootloader. Wait for verification.
- Return for your instrumentPress RESET, then press BOOT while the LED pulses. Choose a QSPI instrument and reconnect to “Amen Bootloader”.
Replaces internal firmware; preserves the QSPI instrument. STM32 recovery mode keeps its factory USB name. An internal-flash instrument will replace this bootloader.

If installation fails, reconnect in the correct bootloader mode and retry. Don’t unplug during a transfer. A completed transfer does not verify audio operation. Official Daisy programmer ↗
